SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Located in the northern part of Kenya, It derives its name from the original natives of the land. One of the Kenyan tribe who still hold their traditional cultures in very high esteem. The Ewaso Ngiro river gives life to this dry park and its rare species of animals. Its 165km squared in size and is situated about 350km from Nairobi. Samburu national reserve plays host to all the big five animals of Africa. Its particularly popular because it also shelters the following rare species.

  • African wild dogs.
